Rave reviews in Edinburgh for The Boss of it All

27 August 2013

Our "severely stylish" production of The Boss of it All  received rave reviews at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from critics and audiences across the board. The production - a  stage adaptation of Lars Von Triers film comedy - played at Assembly Roxy Central for the better part of August. Here's what the critics had to say:

A really terrific and smartly funny piece of work
¯ Lyn Gardner, The Guardian: What To See at the Edinburgh Festival

The fringe offers several plays with film as their starting point. Best of the bunch is The Boss of it All. An elegant Nordic design and clutch of magnetically understated performances... very funny. ****

The Scotsman

"Superb performances. This is a show I have run out of superlatives for. So instead I'm just going to say: see it!" - *****
Three Weeks

Crisply staged... elegantly designed... and very engagingly performed by a superb cast ****
The Edinburgh Reporter

Severely stylish, unapologetic and brilliantly offbeat stuff. Von Trier would be proud.****
 A Younger Theatre

The best office comedy on at the Fringe this year. ****
 Broadway Baby

A clever and stylish take on Von Trier's film. ****
Fest Magazine

A show of the highest standard *****
